Selling commodities and raw materials is time consuming and involves intensive consultation of customers. Commodities and raw materials, which have been mined and subsequently refined, usually have different chemical and physical properties depending on mine and deposit.

 

A new customer needs to be convinced to test a raw material from a new mining operation. A test followed by approval will allow to become in the long run supplier of the customer.

 

Obviously quality and price, checking of compliance and credit criteria as well as contract negotiation are decisive factors. Key for success is, however, a personal and trustworthy relationship between seller and buyer. The decision-makers have to be found and need to be contacted directly – through regular phone calls and personal meetings.

 

My competence is marketing and selling of your raw material. In close cooperation with my client, I will develop a sales concept for a geographical area or a market segment. The sales concept will comprise a list of potential customers including demand of these customers with respect to quantity and quality, description of logistics and estimation of revenues.

 

My key competence is implementation of the sales concept through addressing the specified customers followed by building a customer relationship.
